Component, Combo, & PreBuild Warranty Information

 All items sold by Technologies For Tomorrow include a 30-day replacement warranty (with the exception of software). Technologies For Tomorrow does not warranty customer’s existing components used in conjunction with any combo or prebuild. Technologies For Tomorrow will test any component purchased from Technologies For Tomorrow free of charge within the first 30 days of ownership. Customer must provide items as sold for testing. NO CUSTOMER SUPPLIED COMPONENTS CAN BE INCLUDED for testing or standard diagnostic labor rates will apply. Technologies For Tomorrow, Inc. does not guarantee interoperability with customers existing components and software. Technologies For Tomorrow is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the part’s use.

Instore and Remote Service & Repair Warranty Information

All systems serviced by Technologies For Tomorrow are covered under our 30-day labor guarantee. Any system exhibiting the exact same issues as described on the original service record is eligible. We CANNOT warranty against spyware/malware or virus reinfection if the system in question does not have ACTIVE anti-spwyare/malware and virus protection. Technologies For Tomorrow cannot control the surfing/computing habits of the computer user once the system leaves our facilities, therefore any problems arising from reinfection or customer error are not covered by our 30-day labor guarantee. Technologies For Tomorrow does not warranty any customer provided hardware or software to be free from defect AT ANY TIME. It is your responsibility to backup all existing data, software, and programs before receiving services or support (including telephone support). Technologies For Tomorrow will have no liability for loss or recovery of data, programs or loss of use of system(s) arising out of the services or support or any act or omission, including negligence, by Technologies For Tomorrow. Technologies For Tomorrow is not permitted by law to copy pirated or copyrighted materials or to copy or handle illegal data. Prior to Dell and/or your third-party service provider providing service or support, you represent that your system(s) does not contain illegal files or data. You also represent that you own the copyright or have a license to make copies to all files on your system. After a new Operating System (Windows) re-install Recovery and reinstallation of customer application software and user data are not covered. This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by non-Technologies For Tomorrow supplied products; (b) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (c) to damage caused by operating the part outside the permitted uses described by Technologies For Tomorrow or the manufacturer of said part; (d) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Technologies For Tomorrow or an Technologies For Tomorrow Authorized Service Provider authorized to perform service; (e) to a part that has been modified to significantly alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Technologies For Tomorrow; (f) to consumable parts, such as batteries, unless damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; or (g) if any serial number has been removed or defaced. Any items sold by Technologies For Tomorrow, used in the service or repair of a system is covered by our 30-day component replacement warranty.

One Year Instore Complete System Warranty Information

Complete systems (not prebuilds) purchased from Technologies For Tomorrow are warranted to be free of defects in materials for a period of one year from date of shipment or pickup. All warranty service is to be handled directly by Technologies For Tomorrow, and includes, but not limited to all technical support, all repair part shipments and all factory repairs. There is no onsite service component of the warranty; however, it is available as a warranty upgrade at the time of the computer purchase. This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by non-Technologies For Tomorrow supplied products; (b) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (c) to damage caused by operating the part outside the permitted uses described by Technologies For Tomorrow or the manufacturer of said part; (d) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Technologies For Tomorrow or an Technologies For Tomorrow Authorized Service Provider authorized to perform service; (e) to a part that has been modified to significantly alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Technologies For Tomorrow; (f) to consumable parts, such as batteries, unless damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; or (g) if any serial number has been removed or defaced. Tampering or breaking the Warranty Void sticker on the exterior of the system will result in immediate termination of the warranty. Technologies For Tomorrow, Inc. will, at no charge to the customer, physically install any additional parts requested during the term of the warranty. The customer will be responsible for the components setup and software installation. Technologies For Tomorrow, Inc does not warranty software or customer supplied parts.

 

Technologies For Tomorrow, Inc. reserves the right to terminate this warranty at any time, for any reason.

Optional Onsite/Extended Warranty Information

Technologies For Tomorrow, Inc. offers a wide range of in-home, business onsite warranties. Please contact your sales representative for more information. This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by non-Technologies For Tomorrow supplied products; (b) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (c) to damage caused by operating the part outside the permitted uses described by Technologies For Tomorrow or the manufacturer of said part; (d) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Technologies For Tomorrow or an Technologies For Tomorrow Authorized Service Provider authorized to perform service; (e) to a part that has been modified to significantly alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Technologies For Tomorrow; (f) to consumable parts, such as batteries, unless damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; or (g) if any serial number has been removed or defaced. Any out of state onsite warranty requests must be processed through the ServiceNet call center at 1(800). Out-of-State/Government/EDU System Warranty Information

All systems covered under Technologies For Tomorrow OoS/Gov/Edu warranty please contact your sales representative for immediate help regarding any issues you might have. At the point of contact we can check your warranty status if you are unsure. Your representative will then help determine the nature of the problem, issue an RMA#, and will either advance ship the required replacement parts to you, or request that the system be returned to Technologies For Tomorrow for repair and return to you.

 

Limitation of Liability

TECHNOLOGIES FOR TOMORROW, INC. DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY LIABILITY FOR PRODUCT NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR FOR LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA OR SOFTWARE, OR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES AND SUPPORT. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, TECHNOLOGIES FOR TOMORROW, INC. WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY. YOU AGREE THAT FOR ANY LIABILITY RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCT, TECHNOLOGIES FOR TOMORROW, INC. IS NOT LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF DAMAGES ABOVE THE AMOUNT INVOICED FOR THE APPLICABLE PRODUCT. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING IN THIS AGREEMENT TO THE CONTRARY, THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS AGREEMENT SHALL APPLY EVEN IF SUCH REMEDIES FAIL THEIR ESSENTIAL PURPOSE
