Compass SMB Series Servers offer a selection of Intel Core i3, i5, i7 and E3 Series Xeon Processors.  Compass SMB Servers can be configured in both rackmount and tower configurations, and are configurable with a wide selection of RAM, storage, and expansion options as well as remote management and KVM-over-LAN.

Compass Core Series

Compass Core Series Servers offer flexibility in an expansive family of 1U, 2U, 3U, 4U and tower based systems for the most demanding enterprise data center, cloud, or high performance computing (HPC) environments.  All Compass Core Series Servers are dual socket (2P) equipped, supporting either two Intel Xeon or two AMD Opteron processors.  Combining powerful performance, energy efficiency, and new built-in capabilities, Compass Core Series Servers are ideal for the diverse needs of your business.  

 

Compass Core Series Servers offer a selection of Intel E5-2400 and E5-2600 Series Xeon processors as well as AMD Opteron 4000 and 6000 series processors.  Compass Core Series Servers can be configured in both rackmount and tower configurations with up to 512GB of DDR3 RAM, SAS & SATA storage arrays, and 1GbE and 10Gbe dual port and quad port expansion options.  Compass Core Series Servers also offer the latest IPMI 2.0 with virtual media over LAN and KVM-over-LAN support as an option.

Compass nPower series (multi-Node systems)

Compass nPower Series multi-node computing platofrms offer an innovative rackmount system designed to increase computing density while reducing cost, energy and space requirements.

 

With two systems (or two nodes) within a 1U space, a 1U nPower server can support up to 32 processor cores – two systems each housing two Octo-core Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2600 Series. Building upon our successful 1U Twin technology, the innovative 2U nPower systems architecture achieves breakthrough x86 server performance-per-watt (375 GFLOPS/kW, up to 25% net gain over other top tiers’ 1U servers) to further satisfy the ever-increasing efficiency, density and low-TCO demands of today’s high performance computing (HPC) clusters and data centers.  Compass nPower Series increase the vertical footprint and computing density by offering 2U servers with dual or quad node units and 3U servers with up to 12 nodes.  Compass nPower 2U quad node systems based off of the AMD Opteron 6300 series 16-core processors can squeeze an amazing 128 processor cores into one chassis.Equipped with up to 1620-watt Platinum Level (94%+ efficiency) power supplies, they feature not only hot-swappable hard drives and power supplies, but also the computing nodes themselves are hot-swappable to facilitate easy installation and maintenance. For high availability, they also provide optional redundant power and multiple 3.5″ hard drives or 2.5″ SATA or SAS hard drives per node for RAID 5 or 6 data protection*.  Connectivity options include onboard Mellanox 53Gb/s FDR , 40Gb/s QDR, and 20Gb/s DDR InfiniBand as well as 10G Ethernet options*

 

The Technologies For Tomorrow Compass nPower FT is the latest addition to our evolving line of multi-node server solutions. The 4U nSeries FT system greatly expands compute and storage capacities beyond our existing 1U and 2U nPower multi-node systems to achieve increased performance with lower power consumption. By virtue of its shared components the nPower FT improves cost-effectiveness and reliability, while its modular architecture makes it flexible to configure and easy to maintain.

The nPower FT is available in high-density 8 / 4 / 2 hot-plug system node configurations with a choice of memory capacities, hard disk drives, power supplies, front or rear I/O, PCI and networking options and more. Its high efficiency, highly effective shared cooling architecture allows the nPower FT to operate in high-temperature, free-air cooled environments up to 47°C, providing considerable cost savings and improved TCO.  Versatile configurations allow the nPower FT to be optimized for many different environments including Data Center, Cloud Computing, and HPC; Engineering, Research, and GPU projects; File and Storage Server deployments; and General Server and Enterprise Server applications.

Compass M-io Series

Technologies For Tomorrow Compass M-IO Series servers and workstations allow users to select from a wide range of I/O options to provide the ultimate in storage and networking flexibility. When installed, a Compass UIO/WIO card becomes part of the motherboard, and the system still retains all of its PCI-Express and PCI-X slots for expansion cards. In addition to enabling customizable configurations and optimization for a wide range of application requirements, Compass M-IO Series systems also provide cost advantages and investment protection.

Future upgrades can be achieved by replacing the UIO/WIO card and/or expansion cards instead of replacing entire systems. Without any UIO/WIO or expansion cards, a UIO/WIO system functions as a cost-effective server. With a UIO/WIO card installed, one UIO/WIO 1U server supports 5x add-on cards, and 9 add-on cards in 2U . This versatility minimizes the number of servers customers require to operate their business.  Compass M-IO Series systems utilize high-efficiency power supplies (up to 94% efficient) to deliver significant energy cost savings in 1U, 2U, 3U, 4U and tower based form factors.

Compass XP Series servers based on the Intel® C602 chipset support four Intel’s Xeon® E5-4600 series processors (MP) with QPI up to 8GT/s. These boards support PCI-E 3.0, up to 1TB DDR3 memory, and integrated IPMI 2.0. They are leading performance boards for HPC, virtualization and communication applications.  Compass XP Series 8-way servers based on 8-Core Xeon 7500 Series and 10-Core Xeon E7-8800 family processors come together to offer a 5U 8-way server with super-high computing performance. Compass XP Series 8-way servers are ideal for Mission Critical Applications, High Performance In-Memory Database, Business Intelligence/Continuity, ERP, CRM, Virtualization, CAD, EDA tools, 3D Applications.

 

Servers based on AMD’s SR56x0/SP5100 chipset supports the new-generation AMD Opteron™ 6300 series processors (G34). This platform is built on a consistent architecture delivering continued performance-per-watt leadership and improved business capabilities by enhancing efficient 16/12/8/4-Core capabilities, low-power/high-bandwidth DDR3, and AMD Virtualization support.
